Personal Information Protection Policy

Intelligence Ltd. has as its corporate mission: “Be a company that provides HR infrastructure services and, realizes the joy of work”. To achieve this mission, Intelligence places the greatest importance and highest priority on properly protecting and managing the privacy/personal information of all stakeholders including clients.
Along with the establishment of personal information protection management systems, Intelligence shall ensure that each and every executive and employee etc understand the “Personal Information Protection Policy” and, continue to spare no effort in promoting personal information protection.

1. Acquisition, use and provision of personal information:

Intelligence shall identify and clearly specify the scope necessary for personal information to be used to achieve business objectives and, shall only acquire personal information through legal and fair means. Personal information acquired by Intelligence shall only be used/provided within the scope necessary to achieve previously specified business objectives and, shall not be used for purposes outside the scope required to achieve said aims of use. In addition, Intelligence shall implement periodic checks to ensure that personal information is not being used etc for purposes other than the said objectives.

2. Compliance with laws, state policy and other regulations in relation to personal information:

Intelligence shall comply with laws, state policy and other regulations relating to personal information and, shall ensure the appropriate protection and management of personal information in accordance with the personal information protection management system, JISQ15001:2006.

3. Prevention of damages and personal information leakage/loss and, corrective measures:

Intelligence shall implement appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration and leaks of personal information. Also, these security measures shall be periodically and promptly reviewed and revised.

4. Complaints and inquiries:

Intelligence shall endeavor to sincerely address complaints, questions and inquiries etc. regarding the handling of personal information.

5. On-going improvements to the personal information protection management system:

To safely protect personal information, Intelligence shall implement without fail the `Plan-Do-Check-Act` (PDCA) cycle based on the personal information protection management system and, shall make on-going improvements relating to personal information protection.

The Privacy Mark is a mark that is granted to businesses certified as having established a system for appropriate protection of personal information by the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community, which is a corporation authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
